 StrummWear
is an exciting new music fashion line that combines the youthful spirit
of fun, fashion and faith into hundreds of unique guitar and bass guitar
string bracelets designed to suit every occasion and every personality.
Based in Madison, Mississippi, StrummWear was founded in 2008 by Nicole
Ballard, a creative and fun-loving high school student who embodies the
StrummWear lifestyle. Combining music and fashion, fashion and faith, Nicole
has captured the essence of youthful self-expression.
StrummWear is more than jewelry... It represents a new category in accessories
that we like to refer to as "music fashion." StrummWear creatively
marries music and self-expressive fashion to feed a new iPod, Guitar Hero
and American Idol generation.
StrummWear is a woman-owned business, controlled by mother and daughter,
that involves the whole family dedicated to serving customers and spreading
the Gospel.
The StrummWear Story
StrummWear was founded in 2008 by Nicole Ballard, a 16 year-old high school
sophomore. From an early age, Nicole's interests have centered around creativity
and entrepreneurial adventures. From her childhood coffee stand for neighborhood
commuters, artsy photography and handmade fashion accessories, Nicole has
always pursued the American Dream through self-motivated innovation and
creativity.
In the fall of 2007, Nicole "borrowed" a guitar string and pick
from her boyfriend with the simple intent of creating a personal keepsake.
When she wore this primitive guitar string bracelet to school, friends all
asked how much she would charge to make one for them!
Sensing a market in the making, Nicole relayed the experience to her entrepreneurial
father and together they began to imagine and explore the business possibilities.
After months of research, supplier negotiations, prototyping and design,
StrummWear was born. In her first few weeks of business, Nicole signed over
a dozen stores in the Southeastern U.S. and product demand quickly became
an unbelievable blessing. The whole family has since joined this fun and
exciting adventure.

Every package that reaches customers' hands carries this Bible verse. The
StrummWear logo and every guitar pick charm carries our unique Trinity icon
that represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. StrummWear is more
than a fashion business... It's a Christian ministry! A portion
of all profits are donated to Christian ministries dedicated to spreading
the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.
